Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Maze Line mobile game ("the App", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and your choices. We built Maze Line to respect your privacy: the game is fully playable without an account, contains no advertising, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

1. Information we collect

If you play as a guest: your progress (levels, ratings, in‑game Stars, settings) is stored only on your device. We do not collect it.

If you sign in (with Apple or Google, which is optional and only needed for the global leaderboard and tournaments), we collect:

Account identifier — a unique user ID from Apple/Google sign‑in.
Name — your display name, shown on the leaderboard. You can edit or change it.
Email address — provided by Apple/Google sign‑in. With Sign in with Apple you may choose to hide your email (a private relay address is used instead).
Game score — your total stars and tournament results, to rank you on the leaderboard.

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, device advertising identifier, or browsing activity.

2. How we use it

To save and sync your profile, name, and avatar across the leaderboard.
To show global rankings and run tournaments.
To operate, maintain, and improve the game.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it for marketing.

3. Service providers

We use Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) to provide sign‑in and store leaderboard/tournament data, and Apple / Google for sign‑in. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:

Firebase / Google: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Apple: apple.com/legal/privacy

4. Data retention & your choices

Local data: reset any time with “Reset Progress” in the app’s Settings, or by deleting the app.
Account & leaderboard data: kept while your account exists. To delete your account and associated leaderboard data, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.
You can sign out at any time from the Profile screen.

5. Children

Maze Line is suitable for all ages and contains no objectionable content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the optional account data described above. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Security

Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Leaderboard records are protected by security rules so that each player can only write their own entry.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
